Dance Performances

The Gainesville Ballet Company season is comprised of three central performances. In the fall, we unveil the repertory works learned during the company's summer intensive at Dancing in the Moonlight. Our faculty and notable guest artists have choreographed these pieces, especially for Gainesville Ballet. 

We are proud to kick off the holiday season in Northeast Georgia by bringing to life the classic tale of The Nutcracker. Our production sees Clara and her Nutcracker battle with the Rat King and then travel to the Land of Sweets to celebrate their victory! Join us in November for The Nutcracker. 

Finally, as spring bursts forth on the banks of the Chattahoochee, we, too, breathe life into a new tale! Each March, our Spring Storybook Ballet brings classic stories to the stage! Past productions include Mary Poppins, Cinderella, and Peter Pan. Recently, we ventured down the rabbit hole with Alice in Wonderland! 

We also offer special school matinee performances of The Nutcracker in November and our Spring Storybook Ballet in March! These enchanting productions are perfect for field trips and provide a magical experience for schools and homeschool groups.

You can purchase tickets to one of these exceptional performances through our online box office or at the door up to an hour before the performance. We look forward to dancing for you!
